Presentation of the book: Diari de guerra d’un “Biberó”

Presentation of the book by Pont del Petroli editions, Diari de guerra d’un “Biberó”, by Josep Gual Lloberes on Tuesday, April 14th, at 7 pm.

The book is the transcription of the manuscript of the 128-page notebook that, as a diary, Josep Gual wrote from April 28, 1938 when he joined the conscription called at the athletics tracks on Carrer d’Iris, until he was sentenced to forced labor in September 1938.

This book by Josep Gual is the testimony of the war and the subsequent repression of a young soldier of the “lleva del biberó”.

The book will be presented by Valentí Soler, philologist who is the one who made the transcription and Joan Villarroya, doctor in history, who will frame it in the historical context.
