Gerard Sala Rosselló (Tona, 1942 – Badalona, 2024), who died just a year ago, was a multifaceted artist who stood out above all in the field of painting, although in his work there are pieces close to sculpture and sculptures properly. In addition, he also cultivated poetry.
Part of the so-called Generation of 66, he is one of the key figures of avant-garde art in Catalonia.
The exhibition prepared by the Museum, with the coordination of his daughters, is an anthological show that revolves around the major themes and interests that Gerard Sala expressed throughout his artistic life.
