Reenactment
The festival gives special prominence to historical reconstruction, especially to that linked to everyday life, and to traditional trades.
Around the Museum, you can see exhibitions of different crafts and discover, for example, how clothes were spun, woven and dyed, how felt was made, how the ancient inhabitants of Baetulo combed their hair, how they made ropes and mosaics or how they worked bone to make all kinds of accessories, furniture and applications.
You will also be able to learn how pottery was fired, what supports, tools and inks they used for writing and what techniques they used to ensure the preservation of a wide variety of foods, as well as how the Romans protected themselves against curses or tried to attract good luck.
This year, in addition, and for the first time at the festival, we will be able to see how Phoenician craftsmen made prestigious objects with glass.
