On the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Evarist Arnús i Ferrer (Barcelona 1820-1890), the Museum dedicates an exhibition and a serie of activities to him, since he is a key figure in the history of our country and the our city. His relationship with Badalona began in a very prosaic way: he bought a large estate there - the current Parc de Ca l'Arnús - as a form of investment and to give the image of solvency…

Ramon Casas was related to some people from Badalona, whom he portrayed. One was Vicenç Bosch, organizer of the Anís del Mono poster competition, in which he won with his famous chulas. Another was, for example, the great actor Enric Borràs, to whom Casas made several portraits. Now, thanks to the collaboration of several institutions and individuals, the Museum presents an exhibition with works by this painter who embodies like no other the era of modernism.

Guided tour of one of the most unique spaces in the Roman city of Baetulo, the House of the Dolphins. The House of the Dolphins is a well-to-do Roman domus or house from the late 1st century BC, located in the upper part of the ancient city of Baetulo. On December 17th this year marks the 10th anniversary of the inauguration of the Termes and Decumanus space. To commemorate this anniversary, the permanent exhibition of the Museum, where you can see the most outstanding and significant pieces that have been recovered over almost 90 years of archaeological work, has been remodeled. Once again we want to celebrate Christmas with all of you enjoying a Christmas concert at the Roman baths and Decumanus space. On this occasion the recital will be given by students of the Professional Conservatory of Music of Badalona. In order to reach a larger number of people, the concert is scheduled on two different days and there will be two sessions each day, at 7 pm and at 8:30 pm.

The Museum presents the adaptation and translation into Catalan of the book Histoire de Mauthausen. Les cinq années de déportation des républicains espagnols, written by Josep Borràs from Badalona, in which he recounts his experiences in the Mauthausen concentration camp, where 1,094 catalans lost their lives.
