At Christmas 1977, the Amics de Badalona organization published a carol that, without knowing it, was the first of a tradition that has been repeated annually. And that’s fifty years ago!

These carols have always tried to make Badalona’s heritage known and to make it appreciated and, at the same time, to denounce the attacks it has suffered over the years.

The carol has been the way in which the organization has kept its purpose, which has always been to defend Badalona’s heritage, alive and active. The drawing of a local author and an explanatory text of a property or event drawn are what define all these carols that can be seen in the exhibition this year.
