They are preserved in the Museum\u2019s Image Archive and are photographic portraits taken in the last third of the 19th century.<\/p>\n<p>These are so-called visiting card photographs: albumen photographs that were glued onto thick cardboard that, on the back, usually had an engraving with the photographer\u2019s details printed on it.<\/p>\n<p>There were two photographers: Adolfo de Porta and Junyent y Casanobas.<\/p>\n<p>Adolfo de Porta had his studio at Carrer d\u2019en Cueta, n\u00ba 86, 2nd.
