{"id":34167,"date":"2021-04-07T13:34:53","date_gmt":"2021-04-07T11:34:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.museudebadalona.cat\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=34167"},"modified":"2021-04-07T13:34:53","modified_gmt":"2021-04-07T11:34:53","slug":"the-bufala-district","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.museudebadalona.cat\/en\/act\/the-bufala-district\/","title":{"rendered":"The Bufal\u00e0 district"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The beginnings of the Bufal\u00e0 district of Badalona can be traced back to the 1920s, when, in the face of increasing population and demand for housing, three landowners with land in this area of the city promoted three urbanisations (Bachs, Bufal\u00e0 and Pujol), to which, years later, was added another urbanisation promoted by the Soler Biosca.<\/p>\n<p>The area was named Bufal\u00e0 in association with the farmhouse called Can Bufal\u00e0 (or Can Seriol), located in the current Bail\u00e8n street.
