Between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, nature was the great muse and source of inspiration for architects and artists. With this exhibition we want to show how the flora, in particular, became one of the repertoires par excellence of modernist architecture, which came to establish a true dialogue with the world of plants through the decorative arts. An unprecedented vision of the religious, architectural and cultural heritage of the Marina mountain range through the artistic gaze of the photographer Mariano Pagès. The stars are the overarching element of the 26 images that make up this exhibition - all made during the night and, often in conditions of total darkness-, snapshots of singular beauty that make us discover the inestimable wealth of the hidden heritage of this area.

Enric Giralt, reporter of the Transition

Enric Giralt Paulí (Badalona 1945-2012) was an outstanding journalist. His professional life was linked, first, to the written press and, later, on television, to the delegation in Catalonia of Televisión Española. Politically committed from a very young age, he was a member of the Party of Socialists of Catalonia (PSC-PSOE). The exhibition is inspired by the collection of photographs by Enric Giralt, which his family has given to the Museum of Badalona, and is also a tribute to his figure.…

Bones: A Journey into the Medieval Age by Physical Anthropology
