DESCRIPTION:Conference The Trades of the Sea and Shipbuilding in the Middle Ages by Jan Jordán Clariana\, Merchant Navy Officer and Advisor on big sailboats. \nWe will discover how ships were built in the Middle Ages and all the trades and craftsmen that were necessary during the process. We will also take a look at the evolution of boats throughout history as well as that of navigation techniques and knowledge. \nThis talk is part of the series of conferences organized by the Museum of Badalona and the Badalona Medieval Festival Association\, which this year will focus on navigation in the Middle Ages.
