New publication dedicated to Montalegre

The Museum's store has put up for sale a new publication dedicated, on this occasion, to the Carthusian monastery of Montalegre. The book, entitled Montalegre. Sis segles de silenci cartoixà, has texts by Jaume Oliveras and photographs by Oriol Casanovas and Antonio Guillén, and is the catalog of the exhibition of the same name that can now be visited at the Museum.

Through its pages we discover how has been the evolution of the Carthusians  and how they continue, still in the 21st century, following the guidelines of the order founded in 1084 by Bru de Colonia based on austerity, chastity and obedience The publication also reproduces part of the photographs of the reports made by Casanovas and Guillén in this unique building of Tiana.
