Exhibition dedicated to Montalegre

The Museum prepares, in the autumn, an exhibition dedicated to the Carthusian Monastery of Montalegre, the only Catalan monastery of this Order that is still inhabited by a community of monks. The exhibition will explore the history of this important monastery of Tiana, whose origins date back to 1415 when a community of carthusians from Vallparadís (Terrassa) was established.

The exhibition will be seen from October 19th to January 14th of 2018, and will be completed with a series of conferences, by various specialists, who will approach us to several aspects of the Carthusians life as history, art, gastronomy or literature.
