The seafront and Oil Bridge
This itinerary along the seafront which will take us from “la riera de Canyadó” (Canyadó stream) to the Oil Bridge, an exceptionally panoramic point to Badalona’s coastline recently opened to the public, will allow us to learn about urban development on Badalona’s coastal area, mainly as a result of industrialisation. We will see the places where factories were situated and the locations where the highly relevant traditional activity of fishing was carried out. Other highlights of the tour include areas and buildings of artistic and historical interest such as “la casa Matamala” (Matamala’s house), Roca i Pi Monument, “Ca l’Escanyerelets” and the “Cor de Marina” society.
The visits are aimed at compulsory and post compulsory secondary school groups, and the general public.
