Dalt de la Vila

Modern Dalt de la Vila quarter is a reflection of the genesis of the town of Badalona, not only because the remains of the ancient Roman town of Baetulo lie at its foundations but also because her present-day streets are a living testimony of her evolution from the eighteenth century to the later enlargement of the quarter towards the sea. On the city tour we will walk through its streets and discover elements and buildings that account for the town’s development such as The Old Tower, Santa Maria’s Church, the Parish House, the gothic window at “Carrer De Dalt”, the blind alleys dating from more modern times, the first Town Hall and the country farmhouses which bear witness to the rural past of the town.

The visits are aimed at the general public.
